The Western New York Sustainable Energy Association is holding its' 15th Annual Tour Solar Homes and Green Buildings that will have a kick-off press event on Saturday, October 2nd at 10 am at the renovated 1926  former warehouse at 95 Perry Street. This is a part of the National Tour of Solar Homes and Green Buildings. The Solar Tour is self guided, free, and open to the public. The list of 25 local Solar Tour and Green Building participants is here.

Local Architect Kevin Connors of Eco_Logic studio will be hosting a free workshop after the Solar Tour press event on"How to Make Your Home Energy Efficient". This free workshop will take place at 12 Noon at PUSH headquarters at 271 Grant Street, in Buffalo

  A Wind Talk-  Tim Ryan of Apex Wind will give a presentation about the Steel Winds Project in Lackawanna.  Saturday, October 2nd-12 Noon, at Dug's Dive at the Small Boat Habor, 1111 Fuhrmann Boulevard in Buffalo.
