Amherst Senior Travel Club Annouces Great Trips

The Amherst Senior Travel Club has an exciting schedule of trips planned for members. This active, non-profit group at the Amherst Center for Senior Services has over 440 members and takes at least one day trip per month and up to three longer trips each year -- traveling by coach, train or air. Through a close partnership with Bus America Group Tours, the Amherst Senior Travel Club has been able to provide newer model motor coaches, 3-star plus hotels, full menus and more on trips.

Seniors need to be members of the Amherst Center for Senior Services in order to join the Amherst Senior Travel Club. An annual fee of $7.00 for a single individual and $10.00 per couple is required and includes first choice for signing up for trips, delivery of the monthly newsletter “The Network”, event flyers, Member’s Tea, holiday party and more. First priority for all trips is reserved for paid Travel Club members.

2017-2018 Trips Include:

● Tall Ship Sailing Adventure Aboard the Spirit of Buffalo on August 9, 2018

● It’s a Marvelous Day for a Moon Dance Sailing Adventure on August 29, 2017

● Corning Museum of Glass & Lunch at Serge’s on Tuesday, September 12, 2017

● “Me and My Girl” at Niagara-on-Lake, Canada on September 8, 2017

● Lake George Fall Foliage Excursion on October 2-4, 2017
