Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum Hosts 10th Annual Victorian Tea | Arts & Culture
Step back in time to a period of refinement, elegance, and of course good social etiquette. The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum’s 10th Annual Victorian Tea is a wonderful way to enjoy food and friendship while learning more about this fascinating part of America’s past. This year’s program focuses on Victorian dance, with a special presentation and dance demonstration by the Victorian Dance Society of the Amherst Museum. Enjoy a traditional three-course tea including scones with cream, finger sandwiches, fresh fruits, and assorted desserts. Guests are invited to wear Victorian dress, hats, and bring their favorite tea cup to truly take part in this fun and unique event.
This year’s tea will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Tickets are $25 per person ($10 of which is tax deductible); no coupons or passes are accepted for this event. All proceeds benefit the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. Seating is limited, and reservations and prepayment are required, so call 716-693-1885 or email email@example.com today to reserve your place at this popular annual event. Come meet new friends, or you can reserve your own table for four.
