BUFFALO, N.Y. - Sew WHAT?! A classic way to experience fun, see if you are interested in learning more about quilting, and be around those with similar interests. Yes, the Historical Society wants YOU to join a range of quilters--whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro--in a casual and social setting, to be inspired by quilts from the Historical Society's collection.

Practice quilting basics, demonstrated by an experienced Quilter’s Guild instructor. In the magnificent setting of the Historical Society, be guided to put together a project--all materials are supplied. A member of the Historical Society staff will show exceptional quilts from the Historical Society’s collection.

Location: Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society, 25 Nottingham Court (corner of Elmwood Avenue).

Time: March 8, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the Pan-Am building.

Fee is $25 ($20 members of BECHS), and again, includes class and materials. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required; to do so, you may call 873-9644 ext. 301 or visit the museum gift shop.
