Police Shut Down a Marijuana Grow Operation in an Amherst Home

The Amherst Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant Thursday on a Buckeye Road home, Shutting down a sophisticated, moderate-sized marijuana grow operation. 

The homeowner, Bobby J. Paquette, age 31, and his girlfriend Kathryn Kempisty, age 22, were arrested and charged with felony possession of approximately 4 pounds of marijuana. 

 

The grow operation, located in the basement and garage, yielded approximately 36 marijuana plants between 20"-36" high.  Additional charges are pending subsequent to analysis of the plants.
