Recycle Totes on Display

Recycle Totes on Display

(Amherst-NY)---In anticipation of Amherst’s expanded recycling program, Highway Superintendent Bob Anderson announces that totes are available for residents to view at 1042 North Forest Road from 7:30AM-3:30PM, weekdays. Totes will be delivered in late spring.

Mr. Anderson states, “If a resident is interested in a tote size other than the standard 65 gallon, they are welcome to stop in to look at the 35 or 95 gallon tote. If you have a preference, please email kevans@amherst.ny.us  or call 631-5990 ext. 5924, otherwise your residence will receive a 65 gallon tote automatically.

Our recycling capabilities have expanded and if you need an updated list of what is now recyclable, please visit our website at www.amherst.ny.us  All residences were mailed a flyer earlier this year showing the expanded list.
