The Ontario Junior Hockey League announced today, December 3, 2012, that five members of the Buffalo Junior Sabres Junior “A” Hockey Club will be among the All-Stars skating as part of the OJHL West Division’s team that will participate in the Central Canada Cup All-Star Challenge, taking place December 27 – 29, 2012 in Wellington, Ontario.

Goaltender Parker Gahagen (Williamsville, NY), defensemen Sean Federow (Niagara Falls, ON) and Dylan Howatt (Fairport, NY), and forwards Josh Kielich (Orchard Park, NY) and Tyler Gjurich (Hatfield, PA) will skate with top stars from other teams within their division, competing against teams from the OJHL East, North and South as well as All-Star teams representing the Central Canada Hockey League and Ligue de Hockey Junior AAA de Québec.

The eight teams will feature 160 of Central Canada’s premier Junior ‘A’ players with more than 30 NCAA Division I commitments and 15 members of Team Canada East that competed at the recent World Junior ‘A’ Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.  Among the NCAA Division I bound players is Buffalo’s Josh Kielich, who has committed to Canisius College beginning in academic year 2013-14.
