Amherst Chamber to Launch Program for Young Professionals of WNY

The Buffalo Niagara region has a history of strong civic leadership, dating back to the early 1900s.  Unfortunately, over the last twenty years, we have experienced a significant population loss, predominantly in the under 40 year old demographic.

Currently, there is a void in the region as it relates to providing opportunities for the emerging generation of leaders to participate in and drive civic engagement.  The Amherst Chamber of Commerce has launched a new program, Emerging Business Leaders (EBL), to fill the void, develop and roll out programs and opportunities for interested and progressive young leaders to get engaged.

Weekend Highlights!

A quick look at what's going on around Amherst this weekend. We have the Pumpkin Run 5k Run & Family Walk this Saturday starting at 10:30am, to benefit the at-risk and disadvantaged children served by Gateway-Longview. Click on the link for a full list of details.
