Former First Lady Laura Bush Speaks at UB | News

AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) - Former First Lady Laura Bush spoke Wednesday night to a large crowd at the University at Buffalo.

The event was part of the University's annual Distinguished Speaker Series.

Bush is known as a champion of children's education and human rights, work she's continued since leaving the White House.

Her memoir, "Spoken from the Heart," was published in 2010.
